The Albar Buggy was a kit car produced from 1973.
Alois Barmettler's first car under Alber was the Buggy. The car was differentiated from the crowd and it's competition due to the body modifications such as fins and air dams on the body. The car was based on the Volkswagen Beetle floopan and mechanicals, although the buggy was also known to have a Porsche 2.4L power plant.
The bodywork is made fibreglass and some cars were fitted with gull-wing doors.
