Fiberfab Jamaican

Fiberfab Jamaican V-8 GT Coupe

The Jamaican is a kit car that was designed and manufactured in the United States of America.

The car was built by one of the largest and longest lived kit car companies in America called Fiberfab.

Fiberfab got it's start in the early 1960's building street-rod parts and body panels for Mustangs.

Their first full kit car was the Aztec GT.

They came out with several versions of this car in the mid-1960's, and later they developed other kits including the very popular Avenger/Valkyrie.

Early in 1968 the "Jamaican" was designed to be fitted to a TR3, TR4, MGA, Austin-Healey.

In 1969 Fiberfab built their own "Jamaican" chassis for use with a V8 power-plant and later in 1969, an inner liner was developed that allowed the V8 body to be fitted to a Volkswagen Beetle chassis with only minor modifications.
