The Ginetta G31 is a kit car that was built from 1986 to 1990. Only 70 cars were built.
The car was a 2+2-seater saloon that featured pop-up head lights and a notch-back. It was based on a Ford Cortina (Mark IV) and was also fitted with a range of other parts such as the Ford Capri limited-slip differential.
The engine of choice was the 2.0L Ford Pinto engine although other engines such as the 2.0l Cosworth unit have also been fitted to some cars.
The cars cost £3,117 as a super kit which came painted and trimmed.
