The Miura Targa was a sports car that was manufactured by Brazilian automaker Miura from 1982 to 1988. It would eventually come to be the basis for the Spider model introduced in 1983.

The Targa was fitted from 1982 to 1984 with a 1,588cc Volkswagen 1600 motor capable of producing 98 hp of power at 5,800 rpm and 14.2 kgf·m of torque at 3,000 rpm. From 1984 to 1985, the vehicle was mounted with a 1,781cc water-cooled Volkswagen 1800 that could generate 96 hp at 5,200 rpm and produce 15.6 kgf·m at 3,400 rpm. The four-cylinder Volkswagen 800 AP was utilized in cars made from 1986 to 1988, able to deliver 92 hp of power at 5,000 rpm and 14.6 kgf·m of torque at 2,800 rpm. The original 1600 could bring the Targa up to speeds of 155 km/h and accelerate the vehicle to 100 km/h in as little as 17 seconds. The vehicle had a five-speed gearbox and was the first model of the Miura marque to have front-wheel drive. Braking was done with discs in the front and drums in the rear. For suspension, independent McPherson struts and a stabilizer were utilized in the front and an independent rigid axle was used in the back. The Targa was the first Miura model to include an on-board computer, accompanied in later cars by a voice synthesizer. Air conditioning was standard. As early as 1984, the trunk could be opened electrically from the inside of the vehicle, and starting in 1986 doors could be opened with the click of a remote control. Metrically, the Targa measured 4.27 m in length and weighed about 890 kg. It rode on a wheelbase of 2.42 m.

Hence the car's name, it was only offered in a targa top body style.
