The NSU 14/40 PS was presented in 1918 and produced until 1925.
NSU equipped with car with a modern pointed radiator, electric lighting and start system and with 4-wheel brakes. This made this vehicle the flagship of the NSU post-war automobile production. The cars were fitted on a four-cylinder 3606cc engine that produced 54hp at 2000rpm. The top speed of the car was 100 km/h.
The vehicle was available as a Double Phaeton and as a saloon. A 15 percent luxury tax was levied on the purchase price of the Phaeton.
